Why I'm Exitcted for the Winter

It is now officially autumn ! which means HELLO pumpkin spice latte !  and I'm not going to lie I am pretty excited about it this year. So I thought I would put together a little list some of the things I am most excited about for this year's autumn months.
1. The Clothes
I am really looking forward to wrapping up in woolly / fluffy  jumpers, scarves and onesies .  I have to say I have missed wearing my winter coat. I have spent a lot of time recently looking on Missguided  Topshop and Zara at their new winter clothes and have seen a lot of really gorgeous items of winter. Clothing And now I can finally wear my winter boots.

2. My birthday
Yes I'm a little winter baby . My birthday falls on October 18th, im so exitcted because I will be turning seventeen wooo!

3. Christmas
Bring on the stuffing , roast dinner and Christmas pudding .  The run up to Christmas is always my favourite time of the year. Decorating the house, seeing Christmas lights in every town ( seening the extravagant lights but wow can you imagine their light bill ! ) Hearing  Christmas songs is a pretty good way to start the day.

4. The food
As much as I love summer barbecues and a good old smoothie nothing beats a Sunday roast for me, and although we never have had summer I am really looking forward to them becoming a weekly thing again and enjoying Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes ( they have to be crispy )

5. Halloween
Bring on the crazy outfits and wacky personalities . I love Halloween from the food all the way to the outfits and I love a good old Halloween party .

Mouthwatering Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Hiya guys I'm back (thank goodness) Now this post is for all you chocoholics or Reese's  lovers . Yesterday I was bored out of my mind and I was thing thinking of something to do . Then all of a sudden it came to me I should bake something but what ? I wanted something simple yet satisfying and a recipe that doesn't use so much dishes . So this is what I made Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes .

The result is something literally like a big peanut butter cup–the or a bigger version of Reese's . the  cake is  super moist and rich while the peanut butter filling adds such an amazing contrast a salty-sweet and the chocolate icing  is just rich chocolately goodness!

Prep time:  10 minutes Cook time:  20 minutes

Ingredients
    For the cake
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk, shaken
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • For the filling
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

    For the topping
  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar / powdered sugar
  • pinch of  milk
  • 1/2 coco powder
Instructions
For the cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees . Line muffin pans with 24 cupcake wrappers.
Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and mix on low speed until combined.
In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry.
In a measuring cup, combine the water and vinegar. With mixer still on low, add the water and stir just to combine, scraping the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
Pour the batter into the prepared cups, then  take a teaspoon of peanut butter and add this in the middle of every cupcake   . Next add the rest of the mix on the top ( try on to disturb the peanut butter )   bake for 18-23 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean.
Cool completely on a cooling rack.

For the topping
Add to a bowl icing sugar , coco powder milk. the reason why you should a little bit of milk is you want to mixture to be really thick . After that begin to spread the chocolate icing on the cupcakes .
 Enjoy !

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

These cinnamon rolls will quickly become a household favourite! They are  super soft, fluffy, with just the right amount of cinnamon and not overly sweet, either! Ok can I just say they are HUGE, and taste HEAVENLY!! I know they wont be forgiving on the hips , but what the hell right !  Try this recipe out and you won’t be disappointed!!

Makes 12 Rolls .

Prep time: 30 minsCook time: 30 mins

Ingredients:1 Package of Dry Yeast ¾ cup of Whole Milk ¼ cup of Granulated Sugar ¼ cup of Water, warmed up to 115 degrees ¼ tsp of Vanilla Extract 1 Egg 1 tsp of Salt ¼ cup of Unsalted Butter, melted 4 cups of All Purpose Flour ¼ cup of Melted Butter, to brush over the top before baking
For the Filling,
1/3 cup of Unsalted Butter, at room temperature ¾ cup of Brown Sugar ¼ cup of Granulated Sugar 1 1/2 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon

For the Glaze,
1 1/4 cups of Powdered Sugar ½ tsp of Vanilla Extract 3 to 4 Tbsp of Warm Milk

Method
1) In a small bowl, combine the warm water and 1 tsp of the granulated sugar, sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

2) In the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with a dough hook, mix the egg, milk, salt, sugar and melted butter. Add 2 cups of the flour and the water, vanilla and yeast mixture, mix until its all incorporated and slowly add about 2 more cups of flour. Turn the speed up to medium and let it mix for about 5 to 7 minutes or until you have a smooth dough.

3) Oil a large bowl with some vegetable oil and set aside. Take the dough out of the mixer and pull it together with your hands to form a ball. Place it in the oiled bowl and oil the top of the dough with a little vegetable oil. Cover with plastic wrap and place it in a warm spot to rise for about 2 hours .

You should have something that looks like this

4) In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon for the filling, set aside.

5) When doubled in size, punch the dough down and roll it out onto a floured surface into a 15x9” rectangle. Spread the soft butter over the top and sprinkle evenly over the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Staring from one of the long ends, tightly roll the dough into a jelly roll form. Cut into 14 to 16 slices (make sure they are even) and place them cut side down in a well buttered 9x13 baking pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let put them back into a warm spot to rise for another 1 ½ hours.

 6) Meanwhile preheat your oven to 4 degrees and let me your kitchen will smell of Christmas its amazing !

7) Once risen, brush them with some melted butter and bake them for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

8) While the cinnamon rolls cool for a few minutes make the glaze. Mix all the ingredients of the glaze in a bowl except for the milk, once the cream cheese is all mixed, slowly add the milk until you get a runny glaze consistency. Immediately pour the glaze over the cinnamon rolls and enjoy!

Style Solutions : Body Shapes And What To Wear #1

Hiya guys I hope you are all having a wonderful day so far . I'm so excited for this post ! I'm literally going so you magic tricks to help you with your accentuate
certain body parts . Some of us are blessed with a really nice chest , some of us have with a really long legs , some people are blessed with a flat tummy and some of us just want it all . Anyway before I tell you all the secrets and goodies grab yourself  a nice cup of tea . You done it ? ok . Let get started.

So the first one is the ruffled top now this is for my ladies who are not blessed in the chest region . Experiment with some ruffles here are some different styles of tops that have ruffle on them
Ruffled Top  , Ruffled Blouse , Ruffled Cami  and Ruffled Crop top  . What would the ruffled top do you may ask ? This ruffled effect you highlight and give the illusion that your chest bigger than it really is . Magic right!  And that just first one .

I know a lot of women struggle without having a flat tummy now , this would frustrating when you have an event to go to . The best and most fluttering way deal with this getting a wrap dress. And here are few examples  Wrap Dress Floral Print   and Wrap Playsuit  .

This is for a the short women out there . There is nothing within this universe that can fix this and us short girls have to come to terms with this and that is having short legs. So to solve this solution I recommend  adding high wasited jeans and shorts to your wardrobe  . For jeans you should check out Topshop , Missguided , River island   and Primark . should wear high wasited items because it give the illusion that you much more longer legs than It really is . You could also , add a crop top or if you tuck you T-shirt or shirt underneath  it will also give the illusion of longer legs as well . High wasited shorts in my opinion  are just very flattering in general .They are high wasited and then most of your legs are bare and due to the rest of your leg showing it give the illusion of longer legs .  For shorts you could check out Topshop   and Primark .

Now for the who a re looking to achieve a slimmer waist I would defiantly recommend the peplum . I know there are some peplum haters out there . Some peplums can be a bit out dated because it being  an overdone trend . All you have to do is find the perfect peplum that suits you .  Here are few examples Peplum Dress  Peplum Top  . The peplum would give you hourglass figure and it looks really nice !

This is solutions to accentuate your best body features , Now this make us women beautiful , diverse and wonderful but if any of these things are bothering you use clothes to bring them out or fix them.
On that note I hope have a wonderful day  .

The Best Fruit Tart You Would Ever Have

Why did I make a Fruit tart ?  Partly ,because it sounded like a delicious idea that everyone could get behind and do , but mostly because I love desserts and fancied something light but yet satisfying.  Also , I didn't want to guilty after having four  so my excuse is that they are really addictive and there's fruit on them  . This berry tart which I am calling a fruit tart because I don’t know what to box you can put it in. Use whatever fruits are ripest and freshest and most deliciousest and YOU shall be rewarded!

You could also, get a bit  fancy a add different extracts to the pastry cream  such as vanilla , almond, coconut, orange, rum, or even an ounce of chocolate melted with the half-and-half ( which is 1/2 of milk and 1/2 of double cream ) for a chocolate pastry cream! Now that would taste amazing . Wow  can you imagine a chocolate orange tart ! and then you can play with fruit combinations to come up with a whole range of different fruit tarts: Banana Pudding tart; Creamsicle tart; Strawberry Chocolate tart, and maybe it doesn’t even have to have  fruit! German Chocolate Cake tart! For German Chocolate Cake day! Damn, Now why didn't I think of this before .

The pastry cream can be made and refrigerated up to 48 hours in advance. The crust can be baked the day before or you can buy tartlet which are ready made and then Assemble the tart right before serving, though. It’s best served within an hour with a nice a cup of tea .
Prep time:2 hours
Cook time: 30min
Total time : 2hours 30mins
Serves : 6
 Ingredients.
  1. One pack of tartlets
For pastry cream
  1. 1/2 cup of double cream
  2. 1/2 cup of full fat milk
  3. 3 egg yolks
  4. 1/4 cup sugar
  5. pinch salt
  6. 2 tablespoons plain flour
  7. 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pats
  8. 1 teaspoon almond (or another flavour) extract
  9. About 1 cup sliced fruit of your choosing
Instructions
  • Heat the milk and double cream in a medium sauce pot over medium-low heat.
  • While that warms, begin to in a heavy bowl: egg yolks, salt, sugar, flour until smooth. 'Twill be quite thick. That's why the weight of the bowl will help you tempering.
  • Once the milk and cream  has come to a simmer, turn off the heat and use a measuring cup to scoop out about ⅓ cup and drizzle it into the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly until smooth. There should be no lumps if you've drizzled slowly enough and whisked quickly enough.
  • Turn the pot back on to low heat and now gradually pour the tempered egg yolks into the warm milk and cream , again whisking constantly.
  • Once it's all mixed in, the custard will begin to thicken almost immediately.
  • Continue to cook it over low heat, whisking all the while, for 6-8 minutes or until the whisk dragged through it leaves a trail as if it were parting the seas of custard.
  • Increase heat to medium and cook a further minute until large bubbles begin to pop on the surface.
  • Turn off the heat.
  • Add butter pats and whisk until melted. Add extract.
  • Pour into bowl and cover the surface with cling film . Chill 2-48 hours.
  • While the custard is chilling in the fridge start to cut up your fruits .
  • When your ready to decorate your tarts , take the custard out of the fridge.
  • Take the cling film off the custard and then take you tartlets out of the pack
  • Then with a teaspoon place and inside the tartlet and design to you choosing .
  • Enjoy
