Banana Phantoms !

Hi friends I hope your having an day so far . Today's spooky recipe is called Banana Phantoms .  I have to admit, this “recipe” is a little more “Semi-Homemade” and its great to the young ones involved trust me they would love it ! Let me just tell you   white chocolate really does compliment the banana .I Really I do love Halloween. Anyway, here’s the post  of how to make the cutest scary banana phantoms  ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients

• 4 banana's
• White chocolate baking squares
• black food colouring gel

Instructions

1. Melt the while chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler until smooth.
2. Cut to your banana's in half
3. Dip in the white chocolate to coat.
4. Set on waxed paper-lined plate and refrigerate 20 minutes until firm.
5. Then using the black gel begin to pipe  little chocolate faces on your Phantoms !

Caramel Apples Recipe

Prep time: 10 mins Makes 4

Ingredients:
Two packs of Soft Caramels, 
 2 Tbsp of Milk
 4  Small Granny Smith Apples, make sure that the apples are very very cold
popsicle sticks  or Cake pop sticks
 
Method
,       

1) Place all the caramels and milk in a bowl over a double boiler, let the caramel mixture cook wile constantly keeping an eye on it and stirring it until they are fully melted and you have a smooth mixture.

And you should have something like this .

2) Remove from the heat and set aside for a minute.

3) Make sure your apples have been washed and dried and remove the stem. Insert a popsicle stick half way into each one.

4) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

5) Dip each apple in the caramel sauce, making sure to really get them well coated and kind of swirl them for a few seconds to get the caramel to set a little before putting them upside down to coat them. Dip them in any chopped nuts or crushed cookies and sit them on the parchment lined baking sheet.

6) Place them in the fridge for a wile until the caramel has set

 

7) Enjoy !

Halloween Candy Corn Cup Treats!

Hiya Guys Happy October ! I've decided to do something very  SPOOKY  on my blog which is going to be called Blogoween  . Throughout the whole of October I will be doing Halloween treats , DIY'S and makeup up look because I love just love Halloween !
Candy corn has always been  one of my favourite Halloween candy, but until I came across this recipe for candy corn cream cups, However I couldn't find any candy corn sweets in my area , so I used orange sprinkles instead . Here the recipe guys ! Hope you like it .

 

Ingredients

Yellow Layer
 Custard
Yellow food colouring gel  (optional )
Orange Layer
 orange food colouring gel
custard
White Layer
 can of cream
Decoration
Coordinating sprinkles
1 candy corn for each cup

Method
Yellow Layer
 Add the custard in a bowl and if you want you may add some gel food colouring and make the custard more yellow if you want .
Orange Layer
 Add the custard in a separate bowl next add some orange gel food colouring to the custard and then mix until its all combined then ,  place 2-3 tablespoons on top of the yellow layer.

you should have something like this .

White Layer
 Now it time add your whipped cream and then Sprinkle with desired toppings.

Why I'm Exitcted for the Winter

It is now officially autumn ! which means HELLO pumpkin spice latte !  and I'm not going to lie I am pretty excited about it this year. So I thought I would put together a little list some of the things I am most excited about for this year's autumn months.
1. The Clothes I am really looking forward to wrapping up in woolly / fluffy  jumpers, scarves and onesies .  I have to say I have missed wearing my winter coat. I have spent a lot of time recently looking on Missguided  Topshop and Zara at their new winter clothes and have seen a lot of really gorgeous items of winter. Clothing And now I can finally wear my winter boots.  
  2. My birthday Yes I'm a little winter baby . My birthday falls on October 18th, im so exitcted because I will be turning seventeen wooo!   3. Christmas Bring on the stuffing , roast dinner and Christmas pudding .  The run up to Christmas is always my favourite time of the year. Decorating the house, seeing Christmas lights in every town ( seening the extravagant lights but wow can you imagine their light bill ! ) Hearing  Christmas songs is a pretty good way to start the day. 
  4. The food As much as I love summer barbecues and a good old smoothie nothing beats a Sunday roast for me, and although we never have had summer I am really looking forward to them becoming a weekly thing again and enjoying Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes ( they have to be crispy )   5. Halloween Bring on the crazy outfits and wacky personalities . I love Halloween from the food all the way to the outfits and I love a good old Halloween party .   Chyna X

Mouthwatering Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Hiya guys I'm back (thank goodness) Now this post is for all you chocoholics or Reese's  lovers . Yesterday I was bored out of my mind and I was thing thinking of something to do . Then all of a sudden it came to me I should bake something but what ? I wanted something simple yet satisfying and a recipe that doesn't use so much dishes . So this is what I made Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes .


 

 

The result is something literally like a big peanut butter cup–the or a bigger version of Reese's . the  cake is  super moist and rich while the peanut butter filling adds such an amazing contrast a salty-sweet and the chocolate icing  is just rich chocolately goodness! 

Prep time:  10 minutes Cook time:  20 minutes

 

Ingredients

For the cake
• 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 3/4 cups cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup buttermilk, shaken
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 cup hot water
• 1 teaspoon white vinegar
For the filling

• 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

 

For the topping
• 2 tablespoons icing sugar / powdered sugar
• pinch of  milk
• 1/2 coco powder

Instructions

For the cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees . Line muffin pans with 24 cupcake wrappers.

Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and mix on low speed until combined.

In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry.

In a measuring cup, combine the water and vinegar. With mixer still on low, add the water and stir just to combine, scraping the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula.

Pour the batter into the prepared cups, then  take a teaspoon of peanut butter and add this in the middle of every cupcake   . Next add the rest of the mix on the top ( try on to disturb the peanut butter )   bake for 18-23 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean.

Cool completely on a cooling rack.

 

For the topping

Add to a bowl icing sugar , coco powder milk. the reason why you should a little bit of milk is you want to mixture to be really thick . After that begin to spread the chocolate icing on the cupcakes .

A Tropical Twist

 

 Hi everyone wow time has flown by its now September wow! So pinch punch the first day of the month and no returns !  I hope your having swell afternoon Since,  I was a little bit hungry so I decided to make a smoothie  although , the weather seems to be a bit grumpy at the moment  . The smoothie is called A Tropical Twist the reason why is the choice of fruit I used in this smoothie  . the fruits I used came from a  fruit salad  because I was a bit lazy lol . This optional you can cut the fruit that I am using .

Ingredients (Serves 1)

1. 1 cup of tropical juice
2.  Tropical Fruit Salad ( which includes kiwi ,mango, passion fruit , melon and pineapple )  
3. 4 ice cubes
4. 1TSP of honey ( optional)

Method
Add your fruits or fruit salad in blender Next add the ice cubes and tropical and 1 TSP of honey  .   Then blend for 1 minute on high , blend until smooth .
