Hello my glamorous friends ,i hope your having a wonderful weekend .Now i know you are questioning why this is called magic cake ? and how can it be magic ? well the secret is .... the bottom layer which is custard !! The cake tastes amazing with ice cream . If you have a sweet tooth this would be perfect for you ! ps why not have a fruit with the cake too . - 4 eggs (whites separated from yolks)
- 100g melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups warm milk
- foil
- icing sugar for dusting the cake
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 350F or gas mark 4 . Generously grease 8x8 inch pan.
- Separate eggs and add egg whites to a mixer and beat until stiff. Place egg whites in a another bowl and set aside.
- In the mixing bowl add egg yolk, butter, sugar and mix. Then add vanilla extract. Add flour, then gradually add milk. Fold in egg whites
- Pour the batter into the pan and place foil on the top and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes, sprinkle icing sugar and serve.
