Oh My Kimono Upcoming trends #2 ♥




Hello my glamorous friends .  Now the days are becoming more lighter, so we can finally throw away those coats and jackets layers and we begin to explore with a different cover up with is the Kimono .  kimonos should be an essential part in your spring and summer wardrobe.  They are really  flattering, feminine yet it has this causal vibe to it . However you can dress up a kimono too . the kimono Needs to have a gold star plus a A* due to its versatility also suiting every size, height and shape. Due to them being such a huge demand they stores have now traverse with different patterns and colours . Which is amazing now we have bold, a statement kimono .Best stores to shop for kimono are New look , Topshop , Sheinside ,  beginning boutique  and misguided .

Pears Conde ♥

 


Hello my glamorous friends hope you are all well ! long time no talk . Do you love pears and rice pudding too ? If yes you should defiantly give this a try or if you just like food porn just skip onto the pictures .

Ingredients 
  • 2 medium pears
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • Chopped candied fruit
  • Chopped pistachio nuts
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped



Method
 
 Peel and halve the pears and remove the cores. Poach in a syrup made from 1 cup water, 2 cups sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until just tender. Drain.
Cover the rice with the boiling water. Let stand 12 minutes and drain. Scald milk and add the remaining sugar, salt, butter and remaining vanilla. Combine with the rice. Bake in a 350°F. oven for 30 minutes or until rice is soft. Remove from the oven and stir in slightly beaten egg yolks. Turn into a ring mould and chill.
To serve, arrange poached pears in the centre. Decorate with the chopped fruit and nuts and serve with whipped cream.

Nutella Stuffed French Toast ♥




Hello my glamorous This right here is  chocolate heaven on a plate ! chocoholics this recipe is for you or anyone who just loves nutella like me . I think this would perfect for a special occasions or even as a breakfast or even as a dessert

Serves 2
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Nutella, for filling 4 large slices of brioche
1 tbsp softened butter


For the Nutella sauce:
 1tbsp nutella


To make the nutella  sauce, place the nutella  in a small cup and put in the microwave for 1min . After that minute mix your chocolate mixture together and your looking for a runny constancy .
In a large flat dish, whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Spread the Nutella on each slice of brioche and then make two sandwiches.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat until it is foaming. Soak the brioche sandwiches in the eggs and milk and place straight in the pan to cook for 2–3 minutes on either side until golden.
Remove from the pan and slice in two. Place on two warmed serving plates and serve .

Style Steal : Alexa Chung ♥




Hello my glamorous friends I hope you are all having a wonderful morning so far . I haven't done a post like this for a very long time and I thought it was time to start doing them again , as I do love doing them . Alexa is not just known for her amazing long leg but , for her effortless style .

Now I love this first look its super casual and its perfect for any chilled back occasion . I love the pop of colour on this outfit and the hat and leather jacket is perfect for the transition into the spring months.

Roast Vegetable Quiche ♥




Hello my glamorous friends and happy St Patrick day ! Do you fancy having a meat -free day ? Or do you just like roast vegetables well this recipe is for you and it tastes eggcellent too . So friends why not give it shot and trust me you will not be disappointed .

Total Prep 30min
Total Cook Time 55mins
Servings 4

Ingredients
Two sheets frozen ready -rolled shortcrust  pastry
500g butternut pumpkin peeled and then cubed
one small red onion cut into thin wedges
one small red capsicum . thickly sliced
olive oil
4 eggs
1/4 cups pure cream
1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves

Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 200c / 180 fan -forced / gas mark 6 . Place baking tray on the top shelf of the oven . Line another baking tray with greaseproof paper or baking paper .
  2. Use pasty line base and side of a 2.5cm -deep ,11.5cm x34 (base ) , loose - based fluted tart pan . prick the base with a fork . freeze for 15 minutes until frim .
  3. Place pumpkin , capsicum and onion and prepared tray earlier and then begin to spray with oil and season with salt and pepper . Then place on the lower shelf of the oven after , place tart pan on hot baking tray in the oven . Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the pasty is golden brown and the vegetables are tender . Remove tart pan and vegetables from the oven . Reduce oven temperature to 180c/160c fan-forced /gas mark 4
  4. place cream , eggs and cheese in a large blow and whisk till well incorporated  . Season with salt and pepper and then begin to arrange the vegetables in pastry case . Then pour over the egg on the vegetables .   Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown then just set .Then serve hope you enjoy !

Cookies & Cream Oreo Blondies ♥


Hello my glamous friends and happy red nose day . As it is mothers day on Sunday I thought it would a good idea to do this last minute recipe , if you are stuck on what to do on Sunday .  Now let's talk about this soft and chewy cookies and cream blondie...topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup! Friends this is our cheat day lets eat now and workout later .  It's good. Like. Really good. Make it.

Ingredients
  • 2¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Oreos, crushed (plus more for decoration)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus more for decoration)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (plus more for decoration)
  • Vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F gas mark 3
  2. Grease a 9 x 13 pan and line with greased parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, salt and baking soda.
  4. In a large bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  5. Mix in the egg and egg yolk until well combined.
  6. Fold in vanilla extract.
  7. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  8. Fold in crushed Oreos, semi sweet & white chocolate chips.
  9. Press dough evenly into prepared pan.
  10. Press additional chocolate chips and crushed Oreo pieces gently into the dough.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool.
  13. When warm, slice into bars.
  14. Plate and top with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
  15. Serve warm.
