The Best Fruit Tart You Would Ever Have

Why did I make a Fruit tart ?  Partly ,because it sounded like a delicious idea that everyone could get behind and do , but mostly because I love desserts and fancied something light but yet satisfying.  Also , I didn't want to guilty after having four  so my excuse is that they are really addictive and there's fruit on them  . This berry tart which I am calling a fruit tart because I don’t know what to box you can put it in. Use whatever fruits are ripest and freshest and most deliciousest and YOU shall be rewarded!

You could also, get a bit  fancy a add different extracts to the pastry cream  such as vanilla , almond, coconut, orange, rum, or even an ounce of chocolate melted with the half-and-half ( which is 1/2 of milk and 1/2 of double cream ) for a chocolate pastry cream! Now that would taste amazing . Wow  can you imagine a chocolate orange tart ! and then you can play with fruit combinations to come up with a whole range of different fruit tarts: Banana Pudding tart; Creamsicle tart; Strawberry Chocolate tart, and maybe it doesn’t even have to have  fruit! German Chocolate Cake tart! For German Chocolate Cake day! Damn, Now why didn't I think of this before .

The pastry cream can be made and refrigerated up to 48 hours in advance. The crust can be baked the day before or you can buy tartlet which are ready made and then Assemble the tart right before serving, though. It’s best served within an hour with a nice a cup of tea .
Prep time:2 hours
Cook time: 30min
Total time : 2hours 30mins
Serves : 6
 Ingredients.
  1. One pack of tartlets
For pastry cream
  1. 1/2 cup of double cream
  2. 1/2 cup of full fat milk
  3. 3 egg yolks
  4. 1/4 cup sugar
  5. pinch salt
  6. 2 tablespoons plain flour
  7. 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pats
  8. 1 teaspoon almond (or another flavour) extract
  9. About 1 cup sliced fruit of your choosing
Instructions
  • Heat the milk and double cream in a medium sauce pot over medium-low heat.
  • While that warms, begin to in a heavy bowl: egg yolks, salt, sugar, flour until smooth. 'Twill be quite thick. That's why the weight of the bowl will help you tempering.
  • Once the milk and cream  has come to a simmer, turn off the heat and use a measuring cup to scoop out about ⅓ cup and drizzle it into the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly until smooth. There should be no lumps if you've drizzled slowly enough and whisked quickly enough.
  • Turn the pot back on to low heat and now gradually pour the tempered egg yolks into the warm milk and cream , again whisking constantly.
  • Once it's all mixed in, the custard will begin to thicken almost immediately.
  • Continue to cook it over low heat, whisking all the while, for 6-8 minutes or until the whisk dragged through it leaves a trail as if it were parting the seas of custard.
  • Increase heat to medium and cook a further minute until large bubbles begin to pop on the surface.
  • Turn off the heat.
  • Add butter pats and whisk until melted. Add extract.
  • Pour into bowl and cover the surface with cling film . Chill 2-48 hours.
  • While the custard is chilling in the fridge start to cut up your fruits .
  • When your ready to decorate your tarts , take the custard out of the fridge.
  • Take the cling film off the custard and then take you tartlets out of the pack
  • Then with a teaspoon place and inside the tartlet and design to you choosing .
  • Enjoy

    How To Wear Pencil skirts

Hi everyone ! What do you think of when you hear the words ‘pencil skirt’? Maybe only should be worn at work or extremely tight pencil skirt which you can hardly walk in because its too tight around the thighs . Whatever springs to mind, the image that appears is always going to be a seriously sexy, glamorous and grown-up one to me pencil skirts just give puts an outfit together also is one of my Basic Wardrobe Staples  . But before you think ‘OK, this is so not for me  read on with a cuppa before you disregard, this glamorous feminine look.

Does it make my bum look big ?

Most likely yes , silly!  pencil skirts are made to accentuate curves also they are made to cling on all the right places which I love ! , so as long as it doesn’t feel uncomfortable and no too tight where your thighs can't breath you're fine also ANY BODY SHAPE can wear a pencil skirt .after that you're set to get your wiggle on! Are you still doubting?   Bear in mind that the amazing  bootylicious owner of the world’s most famous bottom, Kim Kardashian is a big fan of the pencil skirt. also , it's her  signature look show off her famous rear to fab effect, it also accentuates her womanly thighs.
    Wear it to work

Pencil skirts have always been part of the classic women’s formal skirt suit and I do think they are a staple to have in any workwomen's wardrobe .  So if you want to bring your skirt up to date wear it without the jacket for a fashion-forward and just add an necklace to your blouse , yet office appropriate look that’ll take you straight from your desk and out to dinner. Now who said work wear can be so boring .
    Shirt  from next .
    Statement Necklace  from Zara
    Pencil Skirt  from  Dorothy Perkins

    Its party time .

Add some pizzazz to your look by adding a pencil skirt! The good news is that this skirt shape is incredibly versatile, meaning you won’t need to break the bank buying new tops to match it. These to Missguided  they have a fantastic range of , blacks , neutrals and prints.  And if it’s a really posh night out, why not treat yourself to a  ,Lace pencil skirt from misguided
also why not try a Light coloured and patterned ones are also an excellent choice for a wedding, christening or a day at the races.

    The causal approach to things

To add a causal to a pencil skirt why not add a crop top or a bralet and fro shoes add some sandals , pumps or converse .

If you could change any thing in your life, what would it be?

I wouldn't  change anything and I know that sounds I'm big headed but I'm not trust me on that .I just believe everything happens for a reason and life what you make it . So I wouldn't change anything .

Reason behind the last time you cried?

threading of my eyebrows oh god that's painful .

What is your favourite thing about yourself?

That would have be my eyelashes , they are really thick , long and curly . I just love my eyelashes .

    What makes you feel confident?

an outfit . you know when you just look good from head to toe , for example your hair looks good ,then your outfit looks good . you just feel like you can conker the world .

What did you want to be when you were younger?

As long as I can remember it was something fashion related .

What was the last movie you cried at?

The last time I cried, I was at the cinema watching The Fault In Our Stars. I cried to much , honestly I genuinely thought I was going to run out of tears.

    My Healthy Churros Recipe

Okay so excuse me while I get a little over excited about this fabulous Churros recipe which is healthy , ... well kind of healthy. In this recipe we are going to bake the Churros instead frying them . So a little background about Churros they are kind of the Spanish version of a doughnut . The original Spanish Churros were made with just flour and water (maybe some oil) dough but nowadays in Mexico, Churro batter is enriched with eggs, butter and sugar.

The Churro dough is basically a choux pastry (or paté a choux) which is the same used to éclairs and many more things .  The difference is that instead of being baked, it is fried in this case however, you can bake them too . The dough itself is pretty bland, but the rolling them in  cinnamon-sugar makes up for that. Roll them while they’re still warm so the sugar sticks and melts a little and makes a crunchy shell.

    Cooking time : 20 minutes
    Total time : 20minutes
    Serves: 20-24

    Ingredients
    • 1 cup water
    • 5 tablespoons butter
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup all purpose flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • For baking , a baking tin
    • Greaseproof paper
    • For coating, mix together in a shallow dish:
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Chocolate pot 100g (3.53 ounces) milk chocolate
    Method

    1. Combine water, butter, sugar and salt in a medium pot and bring to boil over medium heat.
    2. Turn off heat and add flour all at once. Stir briskly until a ball forms.
    3. Turn into a large bowl or mixing bowl. Let cool 5 minutes.
    4. Beat eggs with vanilla in a small bowl.
    5. Mix in half the eggs either with a wooden spoon or electric mixer on medium speed until combined. Mix in remaining egg until smooth.
    6.        Set up a piping bag with a ½ inch star tip (I used a Wilton 4B) and fill with half the dough or  fill a churrera fitted with a star tip.
    7. .Pipe long strips of churros batter onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper . Spray lightly  with cooking oil. Use your non-dominant hand to squeeze and your dominant hand to cut lengths off with scissors or a knife (scissors are much more easier to use).
    8. Bake in the oven 200C (392 degrees Fahrenheit) or Gas mark 5 for 12 minutes or until crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. While still warm, gently coat with sugar/cinnamon mixture.
    9. Melt your chocolate in the microwave (30 seconds stir, 20 seconds stir, 10 seconds store, repeat 10 sec stir until melted). OR melt in a bowl resting over a pan with simmering water at the bottom. Make sure the water is not touching the bowl and stir continuously until melted.
    10.  Pour the chocolate into a small serving bowl. Serve churros warm
    Enjoy  x
